The store, which opened in February 2012, features antiques, vintage collectibles and an array of painted furniture. The store also offers Patina Paint, which is similar to chalk paint, she said.
The paint is made with a chalk medium that helps bond the paint to
a surface without stripping or sanding the surface or using a primer.
Vanderford has 38 colors to choose from in three different sizeshalf pint, pint and quart. Each season she adds one or two colors to the selection.
All of the paints are named after a person or significant event in my life, Vanderford said.
The store also offers classes on painting techniques twice a month as well as custom painting, she said.
