Sorting out details
Both calendar draft options see the first and last day of classes Aug. 14 and May 22, respectively. The same graduation, bad weather makeup days and standard federal holiday dates are reflected in both calendar drafts.
Differences between the two calendar drafts include:
- Draft A offers an 11-day student winter break compared to Draft B’s 12-day break.
- Draft A offers 18 days of staff development versus 17 in Draft B.
- Differing first and last days of teacher contracts
