Texas music lovers can celebrate Texas Independence Day at Rising Sun Vineyards while supporting a local nonprofit organization.

In a nutshell

Benefiting the Bastrop Live Music Foundation, which works with local venues to bring shows to Bastrop, and provides individualized mentorship and lessons to young local musicians, the Texas Independence Day Jam will offer live music, food and drinks.

Those unable to attend who would still like to donate to the cause can do so online.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the event, and their instruments for off-stage jams.
