3. Thomas Ranch near Spicewood continues to progress on construction
Thomas Ranch, an over 2,200-acre community developed by Areté Collective near Spicewood, is continuing to progress with construction as the first residents are expected to move in early 2027, Managing Director Joe Rentfro said.

4. Second HTeaO location opens in Georgetown
The Westinghouse Road franchise is owned and operated by Marco Mussi.
The tea shop celebrated its grand opening alongside the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting April 30.

5. New playground, tennis, pickleball courts now open in Round Rock
The new Joanne Land Playground, tennis and pickleball courts in Old Settlers Park are now open, with the city having held celebrations to present these new facilities to the community April 25.

6. Royal Blue Grocery moves closer to Mueller opening
The Austin-based urban market franchise owned by Craig Staley and George Scariano will open its newest location in the city early next year. The shop was planned due to high local demand, Staley said, and will be "tailored to the Mueller neighborhood."
