3. Rock out to Music on the Square
Bring a meal or pick up food from a local business and watch Adan Davila perform rock covers on the courthouse lawn. Attendees are encouraged bring a chair or blanket.

4. Bring the family for a sunset movie
The Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department puts on this month’s iteration of the 2017 Sunset Movie Series as well as holds a celebration for Parks and Recreation Month. Before the movie, families are invited to snack on popcorn; have treats from the sponsor, Edible Arrangements; and play games for children followed by a screening of “Zootopia.” Moviegoers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

5. Dance to live music at the library
The Waller Creek Quartet, a smaller version of the Waller Creek Vipers, a swing band from Austin, coverc the the small combo swing sounds of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole and more. Dancing is encouraged.
