2. Ice skating at Whole Foods
Whole Foods Market's annual holiday ice skating at its downtown Austin location wraps up this weekend. The daily event begins each year in late November. The rooftop rink is open daily from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Whole Foods suggests calling its North Lamar location at 512-476-1206 before heading over to check for any private party reservations, which are offered Monday through Thursday during the ice rink season.

3. Loop 360 decoration cleanup
Keep Austin Beautiful hosts a post-holiday cleanup event to remove decorations that remain on trees along Loop 360. In 2016, Keep Austin Beautiful collected 130 bags of trash and an additional 50 bags of reusable decorations that were donated to Goodwill. People interested in volunteering are encouraged to register for the event online.

4. ‘Pokemon’: Symphonic Evolutions

5. Mallory Page show
Wally Workman Gallery presents a solo show with New Orleans painter Mallory Page, who works with color, composition and technique to deliver a visual interpretation of her interests in the push and pull of cognitive dissonance. The opening reception is Jan. 14 from 6-8 p.m., and a preview happy hour and artist talk is being held Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.
