Bannockburn Christian Academy’s fall festival
Community members are invited to attend this family-friendly event, which features a silent auction, crafts, games, bounce houses and train rides. Food is available for purchase, and $1 tickets are sold for activities and games. Admission and parking are free.

Austin Energy customer takes home free trees courtesy of Austin-based nonprofit TreeFolks.[/caption]
TreeFolks Tree Giveaway
Austin Energy customers are eligible to receive at least one free tree from TreeFolks, an Austin-based nonprofit organization. There are 20 species to choose from, including fruit trees, flowering ornamentals and stately shade trees, in order to help shade the city’s streets and neighborhoods in an attempt to lower temperatures and energy bills.

Visitors to the Community Connections Resource Fair meet with local agencies to learn about social services.[/caption]
Community Connections Resource Fair
Local residents can meet with local agencies to learn about social services in the community and discover ways to lower monthly utility bills through Austin Energy’s Customer Assistance Program. The event includes free food, prizes, children’s activities and a costume contest, information about job opportunities and on-site health screenings.

Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat
Visitors can enjoy a carnival, hayrides, a petting zoo, door prizes and food. Children are welcome to attend and collect candy at the decorated cars. Activities cost $5.
