KidZania installed a plane Wednesday within the 80,000 square feet space next to Stonebriar Centre mall between Dillard’s and Nordstrom.
Construction on the project began this year and is expected to be complete in January 2019. KidZania is a family entertainment center that teaches children through roleplay by allowing them to work adult jobs and earn currency.
The plane being installed would educate children on the tasks of being a pilot or another member of the flight crew.
KidZania operates 24 locations worldwide, and the Frisco location will be the company’s United States debut. There are also plans for Chicago and New Jersey locations.
The KidZania model is built around “mini-cities” that allow children to roleplay in more than 100 occupations and professions from board member to baker to doctor and truck drivers.
