1. Racing Miami now offering motorsports merchandise at Allen Premium Outlets
Racing Miami is now open at the Allen Premium Outlets, a company representative said.
The business offers motorsports merchandise including T-shirts, hats, polos, sweatshirts, accessories and more, its website states. Racing Miami also has locations in Florida, California and Europe.
2. Regus opens HQ office, coworking space near downtown Allen
HQ is now open in Allen, Gillett Commercial owner Bucky Gillett said.
Developed by Regus, HQ offers office space rentals for individuals and teams, as well as coworking spaces, per its website. HQ is part of the International Workplace Group network.
HQ takes up about 17,000 square feet inside The Asher, a business center developed by Gillett Commercial.

3. Gorjana to bring jewelry store to Watters Creek Village in Allen
Gorjana is opening an Allen location this year, Watters Creek Village General Manager Eric Misch said.
The business offers necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, charms and more, per its website. Gorjana will be located across the street from Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, next to Ann Taylor Loft, Misch said. The store also has locations in Southlake and Plano.
This announcement is the first of several new tenants coming soon to the shopping center, following an ownership change this spring, Misch said.
“We're trying to be deliberate about what brands we're bringing in to the center and that are giving customers a reason to come and stay longer,” he said. “Gorjana is one of those brands. They were one that was on our target list of bringing into the center, being able to help elevate the tenant mix a little bit more.”
Gorjana has submitted a demolition permit with plans to start construction later in August, Misch said.

4. The Melting Pot sets opening date for Allen restaurant
An Allen location of The Melting Pot is set to open in August, a representative of the business confirmed.
The eatery, which will be located in Watters Creek Village, will offer a signature four-course dining experience featuring both cheese and chocolate fondue courses.
The menu includes six types of cheese fondue served with bread, fruits and vegetables, and entree fondue options including Coq au Vin, Court Bouillon and more, which pair with proteins including shrimp, steak, chicken and more. Dessert options include six types of chocolate fondue served with sweet treats and fresh fruits, the restaurant’s website states.
The Florida-based company, which was founded in 1975, offers a variety of fondue cooking styles. The company has nearly 90 locations across 30 states, and the Allen restaurant will be the third Melting Pot in North Texas, a company news release states. The restaurant will be led by franchisees Tracie and Dan Greene.
"Our goal is to create a warm, inviting space where the community can slow down, reconnect, and celebrate special moments over great food,” Tracie Greene said in the release.
