The Lake Travis area’s newest grocery store will offer more than just shelves of canned goods and rows of fresh vegetables when it opens Oct. 28 as the Oaks at Lakeway’s anchor establishment.

The 10,000-square-foot facility will offer residents an indoor and outdoor dining experience complete with live music, a full bar and children’s play area, H-E-B Public Affairs Manager Leticia Mendoza said.

Table 620 diners can order local craft beers on tap or choose from specialty cocktails unique to the restaurant, she said. The eatery will have its own entrance, separate from the store, she said.

Chef Randy Evans was brought in from Houston to head up the restaurant’s menu, Mendoza said.

“We’d love for people to have a date night [at Table 620],” she said.
