The Plano ISD Education Foundation is asking for financial contributions as it works to restock the shelves of its store with school supplies for families.

The CORE Store emptied its shelves assisting families with remote learning in the early weeks of the school closures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation said in a Facebook post.

Families in need of school supplies can still request them at the foundation’s website.

The CORE Store’s physical location at 2700 W. 15th St., Plano, is closed, but the store continues to serve area families by providing school supply kits. These kits include notebooks, index cards, writing supplies, glue and scissors, among other items.
