Leased listings for single-family homes and the number of rentals available in the Greater Houston area both saw a rise compared to last year in June, according to the Houston Association of Realtors’ June 2025 Market Update released July 16.

Leased listings rose 5.2% compared to June 2024, with a total of 4,590 single-family rentals leased in June this year, according to the report.
The amount of rentals available rose 12.7% compared to last year after realtors added 7,117 new listings to the Multiple Listing Service, which is a record high, according to the report. Meanwhile, the average lease price rose 1.0% compared to June last year.
