Home sales increase year over year in October in Tomball, Magnolia

While home sales decreased in three of the five Tomball- and Magnolia-area ZIP codes, total home sales in the area increased year over year in October, according to market data provided by local real estate firm The Renee Leslie Group.

Total home sales increased 11.7% year over year in October across the five area ZIP codes in Tomball and Magnolia.

As for the median price of homes, year over year in October, the median home price increased in three of the five ZIP codes in the Tomball and Magnolia area. 77362 saw the largest percentage increase of 60.11%—going from $360,370 to $577,000.

Of the homes that sold in October in Tomball and Magnolia, 62.5% of them were priced between $250,000-$499,999.

The average time homes spent on the market increased year over year in October in three of the five Tomball- and Magnolia-area ZIP codes. The largest percentage increase was in 77355 at 54.72%—homes went from spending an average of 53 days on the market last October to 82 days on the market this October.
