Bayou Land Conservancy announces the retirement of Executive Director Jill Boullion

“Leading Bayou Land Conservancy has been the honor of my career,” Boullion said via news release. “The Houston region is rich with natural beauty and ecological importance, and it has been deeply meaningful to work alongside so many partners and supporters who believe in protecting these lands. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am confident the organization is poised for an even stronger future.”

Going forward

BLC’s board of directors has already begun to look for its next executive director through a nationwide search, according to the news release. The position is expected to be filled by early summer 2026, and Boullion will remain to help with training and onboarding.
