The city of Magnolia will receive a $10.67 million loan to expand its Nichols Sawmill Wastewater Treatment Plant to a capacity of 2 million gallons per day, according to a Sept. 14 news release.
The financial assistance comes from the Texas Water Development Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund, according to the news release.

The wastewater treatment plant expansion will include things such as a new treatment unit, an expansion of the chlorine contact tank and a new retention pond, according to the news release.
