The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting Tomball Night this Friday, Aug. 4, featuring children's activities, vendor booths, a parade, a fireworks display and small business specials. Here's what to know about the citywide festival.
1. Time, location, cost
The event begins at 5 p.m. in Downtown Tomball. Activities are held throughout the Commerce, Walnut, Market, Main and Elm streets area. Admission to the event is free.

2. Road closures
Portions of downtown area roads will be closed to traffic during the event:
- Commerce Street
- N. Walnut Street
- S. Walnut Street
- Market Street
- S. Elm Street
3. Public parking
Free parking is available in the N. Elm Street parking lot as well as the lots near City Hall at 401 Market St. Additionally, guests can park throughout downtown Tomball where street parking is permitted. Parking is not permitted on Main Street.
