Oak Ridge North City Council on Feb. 9 swore in new Chief of Police Marcus Teske, who was named to the position Jan. 26.
In a nutshell
Teske brings more than 20 years of service with the city of Oak Ridge North Police Department, having served in multiple leadership and operational roles throughout his career, according to the city.
“I have gotten to see him serve with consistency, professionalism and integrity. He understands the department; he has institutional knowledge of the department and citizens,” City Administrator Heather Neeley said at the Feb. 9 meeting.
