The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce announced the “best of taste” winners from the 32nd annual Taste of the Town event on Jan. 18. The best of taste competition includes awards for “Best Appetizer,” “Best Entree” and “Best Dessert,” which are determined by a panel of judges. This year, judges included Cristina Kooker of Great Day Houston; Leanne Akers, a pastry chef with Barry Callebaut Chocolate; Darby Douglas from KHOU Channel 11 and Roshni Gurnani, “Chopped” champion and executive chef at Hotel Derek.
