In past years, The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's Taste of the Town event would have taken place on one night, providing area restaurants with an opportunity to share selections with members of the community who purchased a ticket. However, due to COVID-19, in 2021 the event will take a new approach, and diners will be able to visit participating restaurants for almost the entire month to sample fare along the way, according to a press release.
From Jan. 4-31, more than 30 participating restaurants will honor $25 tickets for Taste of the Town. Ticketholders can visit each restaurant once or purchase additional tickets for additional trips around the restaurants. Information about additional restaurants or changes to the lineup can be found at the event website at www.tasteofthetown.org.
Event organizers said the idea is to allow guests to discover new restaurants and support their local favorites, particularly since the restaurant industry has been hit by COVID-19-related closures and restrictions this year.
Group packages of tickets are available through the Taste of the Town website.
