A total of 11 candidates have filed to run for four available seats on the Conroe ISD board of trustees as of the Aug. 19 filing deadline, according to the school district website.
The four positions are for four-year terms for positions 4, 5, 6 and 7.
The posts are currently occupied by incumbents Datren Williams and Stacey Chase in positions 4 and 6, respectively, who are seeking re-election, as well as Theresa Wagaman and Skeeter Hubert, who are not seeking re-election and currently occupy positions 5 and 7, respectively.
