Frutta Bowls, inspired by acai bowls, offers healthy fruit bowls with fresh plant-based whole food ingredients in its 39 locations across 16 states, according to the company website.

Frutta Bowls officials said Frutta Bowls opened a new location in The Woodlands' Creekside Park area Feb. 29 and is holding a grand opening event April 5. The event will feature a free raffle with every Frutta Bowl order, a henna tattoo artist and hula dancing.
