The Goose's Acre Bistro and Irish Pub is celebrating its 20th anniversary Dec. 5. The pub was purchased by Colm O'Neill and Brian Young in County Cork, Ireland, and was later shipped by boat to the U.S. and transported to The Woodlands, co-owner Young said.

What you need to know

Goose's Acre was the first restaurant to open in Town Center 20 years ago. It serves a variety of homemade menu items and a selection of alcohol. A list of specials is also offered all week long.
