Husband-and-wife team Debbie and Jimmy Crane celebrated the grand opening of Crane’s Dress Boutique Oct. 21 at 27858 I-45 N., Oak Ridge North. The boutique offers special occasion dresses in sizes 2-18 for every event from parties and date nights to proms and weddings. The shop carries a wide selection of designer lines including Jovani, Lefemme, Blush, Cameron Blake, Teri Jon, Lyman and Social Occasions by Mon Cheri. “We’ve lived here since 1991 and raised three girls in The Woodlands, so I’m very familiar with the area,” Debbie said. “I’ve also worked my whole life in the corporate dress world so this has been a lifelong dream for me to do this myself.” The shop also offers accessories, handbags, jewelry and shoes to complement its dresses and receives new items on a daily basis.
