The location is expected to bring dozens of new jobs to the region, according to the news release. AB, described in the release as a global leader in sustainability solutions headquartered in Lombardy, Italy, has cited The Woodlands region’s workforce and proximity to other leaders in the industry as factors in choosing it for its North American headquarters.
The company will add approximately 45 new jobs in The Woodlands in 2026, with another 30 jobs annually in engineering, service, maintenance and integration roles over the next five years beginning in 2027, according to the release.
