September brought news of many new business openings, announcements and relocations in the heart of The Woodlands, including a new grocery store and several anticipated restaurants.
Here's a look at some of the recent openings and announcements from September.
Varley is opening at Market Street in The Woodlands, officials confirmed.
The business is expected to begin construction in November inside the 2,300-square-foot space, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Varley offers everyday clothing for women, including breathable knitwear, sweaters, sweatpants, dresses and accessories.

Sprouts Farmers Market opened Sept. 10. The grocery store sells a variety of food options to accommodate all diets, including organic, keto, plant-based and non-GMO, according to information from the company.

4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Ste. 440, The Woodlands
Clothing store Golden Gray Boutique moved within Market Street to a space formerly occupied by Draper James, owner Kirstie Winter said. The store sells items including women's clothing, shoes, accessories and purses.
The shop also has a location at Rice Village Houston and is planning a location at Creekside Park, Winter said.

Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream held its grand opening Sept. 14 in Grogan's Mill Village Center, franchise owner Staci Loftus said.
Yonutz offers an assortment of doughnuts and ice cream including its Smashed Donuts, a hot-pressed, cinnamon sugar warmed doughnut filled with ice cream. The dessert shop also serves milkshakes and other doughnuts with a variety of toppings.

2230 Buckthorne Place, Ste. 150, The Woodlands
Williams Sonoma is now open at Hughes Landing, according to a news release from Howard Hughes Communities. The store offers premium cookware, small appliances, table linens and gourmet food.

1925 Hughes Landing Blvd., Ste. 300, The Woodlands
Bari Ristorante The Woodlands will open Sept. 30 at 24 Waterway Ave., according to a news release from Bari Hospitality Group.
The 9,000-square-foot Italian restaurant will initially serve lunch and dinner daily and will begin offering weekend brunch Oct. 4.

Bar Bludorn in The Woodlands announced it will hold its grand opening Oct. 2.
The restaurant offers signature entrees inspired by American bistro dining with a touch of Texas.
