Drivers along Commonwealth Boulevard in Sugar Land will see lane closures beginning Feb. 12 as crews perform street roadway joint sealing repairs. The lane closures will take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through March 15 along eastbound and westbound routes of the four-lane road from University Boulevard to Austin Parkway. This project is part of the city’s ongoing street rehabilitation program that it performs every four years to assess the pavement on all of its streets. This assessment helps address the maintenance and reconstruction of roadway throughout Sugar Land.
