A full closure of the Hwy. 6 exit ramp on southbound Hwy. 59 is expected to take place June 17 beginning at 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. the next day in order for the Texas Department of Transportation to make repairs to the exit. The city of Sugar Land said in a release that the repairs are weather permitting and that the exit could open earlier should work be completed ahead of schedule. Officials said residents should be mindful of work crews and expect potential traffic delays.
