Missouri City’s contractor will close the two-lane Mission Valley Drive from Eastfield Drive to Lantern Lane beginning Dec. 26 through Jan. 5 for street reconstruction. Traffic-control devices and a detour route via Point Clear Drive will be set up, according to city officials. Residents traveling through this area can get updates on the construction at www.missouricitytx.gov and should expect traffic delays during construction.
