Kurt Proba has been in the hospitality business since he was 17 years old, working at his father’s restaurants in every position possible. His goal?
“I wanted to learn the in and outs of the business and have an understanding all about restaurants,” Proba said. “I got hooked.”
Twenty-three years later in 2011, he partnered with his father to open Bogie’s Pub & Grill in Missouri City and then opened a location in Pearland a few years later.
The pub specializes in bar food but also custom Tex-Mex creations, such as tacos and chimichangas, as well as daily specials and off-the-menu items, Proba said. There are also a menu for children and lighter options, such as salads and wraps.
