Construction on Adams Street in Missouri City began in October. A city contractor began installing traffic control devices and detour routes for alternate lane closures along Adams Street from Texas Parkway to 5th Street Nov. 6. The alternate lane closures will continue through next summer. The project includes repaving, rebuilding driveway approaches, improving intersections and installing a sidewalk along the north side of the street.
