Missouri City residents have the opportunity to represent their community on City Council.
Up for election
The candidate filing period for Missouri City’s November election opens July 20 and runs through Aug. 19.
The city of Missouri City has four City Council seats up for election, including:
Missouri City City Council District A
Those elected will serve three-year terms on their respective council seats.
Looking ahead
These positions will join other elected positions on the ballot, including state and U.S. representatives, and county commissioner candidates that were determined in the March primaries.
The election will take place Nov. 5 with early voting running from Oct. 21-Nov. 1, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.
