The locally-owned and operated bookstore is nestled in the Township Square Shopping Plaza and offers a wide selection of genres, according to the store’s website.
Before opening Books & More, Matherne taught for more than eight years in Fort Bend ISD. He said he wanted to “bring the classroom to the community,” so the shop offers a range of classes, including tutoring for school-aged students and financial classes for adults.
