Grain & Berry, a health food concept, is set to open this summer in Missouri City.

The national franchise will offer acai bowls, fresh fruit smoothies, handmade juices, specialty toasts, and plant-based flatbreads and quesadillas, according to a news release from the company.
The menu features several specialty acai bowls for patrons to choose from, or they can customize their own bowl with fruits, toppings and protein supplements, according to the website.

Grain & Berry’s menu caters to vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, per the release.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Grain & Berry experience to Missouri City,” Grain & Berry Brand Manager Olivia Bordelon said in the release. “Our mission has always been to inspire healthier communities through real, fresh food, and we can’t wait to welcome the Missouri City community into our family.”

There’s one other Grain & Berry in the Houston area in the Aliana community, according to the website. The Missouri City opening is part of the brand's Texas expansion, per the release.
