While voters in Spring and Klein will not be seeing any local school board elections or local government officials on the ballot May 4, they can expect to see several bond elections. Bridgestone Municipal Utility District, Cypress Klein Utility District, Harris County MUD No. 5 and No. 44 will all have propositions on the ballot this May. For Spring and Klein residents zoned to Cy-Fair ISD schools, the school district will also have a $1.762 billion bond proposal on the ballot. Early voting runs 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 22-27, 1-6 p.m. April 28 and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 29-30. On election day May 4, polling locations will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Voters should also note the May 4 election will mark the first election in which countywide voting centers will be implemented, meaning Harris County voters can vote at any polling location countywide both on election day and during early voting.
