Officials with locally owned pizzeria Slice of Venice announced the closure of its establishment in an Oct. 7 Facebook post. Per the Facebook post, Oct. 18 will be the last day locals can get a slice of the eatery's pizza.

Per previous Community Impact reporting, Slice of Venice is known for its authentic Italian dishes, scratch-made pasta and pizza.
The eatery was founded by Inna Klebanskaya in January 2025, with the mission to bring authentic Italian cuisine made with quality ingredients.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank every one of you for your support, kindness, encouragement and love. You have made this little restaurant so much more than a business—you became part of our family and our journey,” Slice of Venice officials said in a Facebook post. “Unfortunately, after almost two years of giving everything we have to make Slice of Venice work, we are no longer able to keep our doors open.”
