1. Aldine Westfield Road widening
The widening project is between East Louetta and Riley Fuzzel roads. It will widen the two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane concrete pavement section. Harris County awarded the construction contract to Allgood Construction in September, and notice to proceed was given on May 3. It is scheduled to be completed in December. Timeline: second quarter 2016-fourth quarter 2016 Cost: $4.2 million Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4

Gosling Road bridge[/caption]
2. Gosling Road bridge
The project, designed by WRUD, spans Harris and Montgomery counties and includes the installation of a twin bridge over Spring Creek. Once funding sources have been identified, construction on the project will begin. Timeline: TBD Cost: $7 million Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4, Montgomery County, TxDOT
3. Gosling Road Segment 1 widening
Harris County awarded the construction contract to Texas Sterling Construction in December. Construction will begin upon completion of utility relocations, which are in progress. Timeline: second quarter 2016-second quarter 2017 Cost: $8.8 million Funding sources: Harris County
4. Gosling Road widening segments 2 and 3
The widening project is in the design phase. Segment 2 is between West Mossy Oaks Road and Creekside Forest Drive. Segment 3 runs from West Rayford Road to Creekside Forest Drive. Segment 2 is scheduled for bidding in the fourth quarter 2016, and Segment 3 is scheduled for bidding in the first quarter 2017.
