1. Aldine Westfield Road widening

The widening project between East Louetta and Riley Fuzzel roads will widen the two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane thoroughfare. Harris County awarded the construction contract to Allgood Construction Company in September. Utility relocations are in progress by the respective utility companies, and roadway construction will begin when utility relocation is completed. The contractor is ready to mobilize and planned to start at the end of April, weather permitting. 2. Gosling Road bridge

A second Gosling Road bridge over Spring Creek, which spans Harris and Montgomery counties, has been designed by The Woodlands Road Utility District. The design and construction is being studied by both counties. The Gosling Road bridge project will be initiated once Harris and Montgomery counties identify funds to design and construct the improvements. 3. Gosling Road Segment 1 widening

The project from Spring Stuebner to West Mossy Oaks roads will widen Gosling Road to five lanes with a 14-foot median between the Grand Parkway and West Mossy Oaks Road. Texas Sterling Construction was awarded the project in December. Construction will begin upon completion of utility relocations. The construction contract allots 360 calendar days for completion. 4. Gosling Road widening segments 2 and 3

Segments 2 and 3 of the Gosling Road widening are in the study phase. Segment 2 is between West Mossy Oaks and West Rayford roads. Segment 3 is between West Rayford Road and Creekside Forest Drive.
