1. Gosling Road widening segments 2 and 3
The widening of segments 2 and 3 are in the study phase. Segment 2 stretches from Mossy Oaks Drive to West Rayford Road, and Segment 3 runs from West Rayford Road to Creekside Forest Drive. The engineering study will address the alignment and whether the widened roadway should be four or five lanes. Drainage mitigation and environmental issues are also being addressed. The project is funded by the successful November 2015 road bond referendum.

2. Aldine Westfield Road widening
Harris County has awarded the construction contract to Allgood Construction Company for the widening of Aldine Westfield Road from East Louetta to Riley Fuzzel roads. The project will widen Aldine Westfield Road from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane thoroughfare. It has been given a 240-day construction contract. A preconstruction meeting has been held, and construction will begin upon completion of the utility relocation process.
