Four local Spring and Klein merchants will be participating vendors at the 39th annual Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market on Nov. 14-17, according to a Aug. 27 news release.
More than 260 merchants from across the U.S. will be showcasing unique gift items during the four-day shopping extravaganza, including home decor, gourmet food, apparel, toys, candles and jewelry.
One Hip Mom, a clothing boutique located on Spring Cypress Road and
Anything Bling Boutique, a clothing boutique located in Vintage Park, will both be on-site selling clothing, holiday decor and accessories. Additionally, Clutter Yule Luv and Fabric Decor—both based in Spring—will be on-site selling Christmas decor, holiday gifts, ornaments, wreaths, nativity sets and tree skirts.
The fundraiser is held annually at NRG Center and supports the Houston Ballet Foundation and its academy and scholarship programs, as 11% of all merchandise sales and proceeds from admission and special event tickets benefit the organization.
"Seeing the excitement on our shoppers' faces as they find that perfect gift and witnessing how it brings people together in the holiday spirit is one of the most wonderful aspects about the Nutcracker Market," CEO Patsy Chapman said in a statement. "The opportunity to discover new merchants brings a special excitement to the Market—our shoppers know there are unexpected finds just waiting around the corner."
This year will be the first year to participate in the Nutcracker Market for 23 vendors of the over 260 merchants.
In addition to shopping, festivities will include raffles and special events, including a Wells Fargo Preview Party on Nov. 13, a Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show and Luncheon on Nov. 14, and a Macy’s Fashion Show and Luncheon on Nov. 15.
This year’s theme is “Clara’s Dream,” paying homage to the event’s namesake. General admission tickets will go on sale beginning Oct. 21 at participating Houston-area merchants, while special event tickets, early bird and group general admission tickets can be purchased now by calling 713-535-3231.
One-day general admission tickets cost $20 per person, while children age 5 and younger receive free admission. Special event tickets range from $150-$250 per person.
