If you think you know Indian food, think again. Curry Up Now is redefining the cuisine with bold dishes, inventive twists and an energy-filled dining experience.

From tikka masala burritos to naughty naan pizzas and crispy street snacks, every plate is designed to surprise you and keep you coming back.

Curry Up Now began 16 years ago in 2009 as a single food truck in California, founded by Akash and Rana Kapoor. Their vision was simple: make Indian food modern, playful and accessible. That vision caught fire, growing into restaurants, food trucks and even cocktail bars, Mortar & Pestle.

When Flower Mound franchise owners Kiki Khajuria and Samy Kilaru first tasted Curry Up Now in California, they knew it had to come to Texas.

“It was unlike anything we’d experienced,” Khajuria said. “The flavors were nostalgic, the vibe was modern, and it felt perfect for Texas.”

Flower Mound is the brand’s first Texas location, joining 20 others nationwide.

The Flower Mound restaurant is proudly women-led. Khajuria and her partners, with backgrounds in nursing and IT, wanted to build a space that celebrates food, community, and connection.

“We’re proud to bring Curry Up Now to Flower Mound,” Khajuria said. “It’s about more than food, it’s about inspiring others to create and grow.”
