RSM opened its first location in Texas in 2016 and now has six branches across the state, located in Coppell, Houston, Katy, North Austin, Plano and Sugar Land.
RSM North Austin is led by Lada Dimitrova. From a young age, Lada had a deep passion and talent for mathematics and excelled in national math competitions. This passion eventually brought her to RSM, where she enjoys passing on her love of math to the next generation. For Lada, the most rewarding part of being a principal is witnessing the intellectual growth of her students.
"RSM was created to provide more than just extra time with math; it’s here to spark a love for learning, to create a supportive community and to help every student see what they’re truly capable of achieving," Lada said.
RSM was founded in 1997 and emerged as a partnership between a passionate parent and gifted teacher and has since launched a movement. They created a math education that mirrored their own, one of quality and depth. Today, RSM serves over 80,000 students.
RSM's unique approach consists of a continuous K-12 curriculum, taught by expert teachers, in a classroom environment of peers who study together year over year. RSM's curriculum was developed by a team of academics specializing in mathematics, education and child development and has continuously been perfected by their internal curriculum department.

Three levels for every grade allow RSM to meet children where they are and place them in an environment suited to them. This ensures that students can begin RSM's program at any time and be challenged appropriately in an environment of peers.
All of RSM's teachers have a background in mathematics or a related field, and a deep passion for the subject. Students are guided to think about mathematics logically and conceptually, building deep connections between concepts, all in a classroom environment that keeps children consistently challenged.
In addition to RSM's core program, RSM also offers a selective and tiered competitions program that prepares students for the full array of national and international math Olympiads. In 2024, nearly 11,000 RSM students took the American Mathematics Competitions 8 and the AMC 10/12. The AMC 10/12 are challenging competitions that are the gateway to further opportunities, including the American Invitational Mathematics Examination and the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad. Among the 186 students in RSM's NMCP program, grades eight-11, 58 RSM students earned invitations to take the AIME, representing 31% of AIME participants.
Featured in NPR and The Atlantic as one of the key players in the “Math Revolution” and ranked “among the top schools in the world” by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, RSM helps children develop math fluency, intellect and character, empowering them for life.
