Afterschool programs
After-school programming is a cornerstone of Stoke Factory at Texas Ski Ranch’s fall offerings, giving local families a unique option outside of traditional care.
“The kids can wakeboard, and we have something called ‘the little bro,’ a special wakeboard and water ski tow system, which the kids love! And, it trains them to get on the bigger lake,” Founder Darren Porter said. “We also get the kids out swimming, skateboarding and scootering to get them active. The kids love it after they have been in class all day.”
Kids can also take part in Aqua Park fun through October 31, fish or swim in the on-site lakes and use indoor spaces on rainy days. Additionally, they are having a huge party on Columbus Day Weekend with tons of specials for the Aqua Park and Wakeboarding!
Capacity at the camp is expanding this season to welcome up to 20 more students, with shuttles now running to Mayfair Elementary, Hoffmann Lane Elementary, Oak Creek Elementary and Navarro Elementary.

Adult activities and events
While the after-school program keeps kids moving, Stoke Factory at Texas Ski Ranch also caters to adults and groups looking for recreation.
Additionally, the venue has become a hub for corporate and private events, providing a great place for team building and fellowship activities.
The Stoke Factory Cable Wake Park has enjoyed quite the resurgence this year with a lot of beginners giving it a try and having awesome times! It’s a great and inexpensive way to wakeboard without the need for a boat.
“We have a lot of people who do their corporate events here,” Porter said. “[For example], Dutch Bros recently rented out the Aqua Park and had a great time.”
Seasonal deals give guests even more ways to take advantage of the property. Sunset sessions run Wednesdays-Fridays 2 p.m. to sunset for the Cable Park, and Friday starting at 4 p.m. to sunset for the Aqua Park. The deals are amazing, with Stoke Factory Aqua Park access priced at $15 and Wake Park access at $25, including rentals. Check the website for the most up to date times and deals!
Sunday hours have also been extended to 9 a.m.-6 p.m., with three available sessions throughout the day.
In addition, the site has become home to a resident church, Abide Church of New Braunfels, which meets upstairs for service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
Additionally, don’t forget about their world class Paintball course that is a thrilling event for everybody!

Looking ahead
Entertainment is a major part of Stoke Factory at Texas Ski Ranch’s vision.
“It’s always been our dream to turn this place into a multisport facility where live music and great food compliments all activity. With lots of exciting stuff happening, next year will be an amazing year to get Stoked,” Porter said.
As Stoke Factory at Texas Ski Ranch continues to expand its programs and experiences, families, groups and adventure-seekers have plenty to look forward to—not just this fall, but in the seasons ahead.
