What if a coffee break could feel like a mini vacation? That’s exactly the experience Escape 360 Cafe in McKinney is designed to deliver.

Inspired by global travel, the architect of resort lounges and the art of a well-crafted cup, this cafe blends culinary creativity with comfort, turning everyday moments into something worth savoring.

Now celebrating its first anniversary, Escape 360 has quickly become a local favorite for those seeking more than just coffee.

“We wanted to create a space where people can leave their stress behind—even for an hour,” owner Pete Keopaseut said. “It’s cozy, elevated and full of unexpected flavors. You really have to experience it to understand.”

Behind the vision

Escape 360 Cafe was born from decades of culinary experience and a desire to create something more personal. The Keopaseuts have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, launching successful concepts like Thai Noodle Wave and Wave Bowl.

After years of running fast-paced kitchens, Rosie Keopaseut, who had developed a deep interest in coffee and global cafe culture—began crafting unique drinks and various asian dishes inspired by her travels. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a new vision: a place to slow down, connect and enjoy thoughtfully made food and beverages in a beautiful, resort-style setting.

“After so many years in the restaurant world, we wanted to build something that felt like a true escape—not just for us, but for anyone walking through the doors,” Pete Keopaseut said.

Signature menu items

Every item on the Escape 360 menu tells a story. Rooted in Asian inspiration and shaped by global cafe culture, the menu was carefully developed using premium ingredients and thoughtful presentation. They take pride in freshness and authenticity: all cakes and desserts are made in-house, ensuring every bite is as delightful and unique as the last. So each sip and bite reflects a commitment to flavor, freshness and creativity.

Various menu items include:

Entrees:
  • Malay curry with coconut rice and roti
  • Pesto pasta
  • Spicy Korean honey shrimp
Desserts and cakes:
  • Various flavors of Souffle Pancakes
  • Mango Passion Fruit Cake
  • Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake
Coffee:
  • Thai Coconut Brown Sugar Latte
  • Yuzu Americano
  • Japanese Black Sesame Latte
Non-coffee/tea:
  • Matcha Latte
  • Blue Passion
  • Virgin Mojito
“We want to make sure that everything we serve uses the best ingredients we can find,” Pete Keopaseut said. “We don’t want to just sell something; we want it to be something special. We make sure the flavor is deep and balanced, and that every dish has that ‘wow’ moment.”

Step into an escape

In a world that often feels nonstop, finding a moment of peace is rare. Escape 360 was designed to offer just that—a beautiful pause in the middle of a busy day. With plush lounge seating, soft lighting and soothing design elements, the space invites guests to relax and recharge.

Whether sharing quality time with friends or savoring a quiet moment alone, the cafe provides a welcoming atmosphere that feels both calming and elevated.

“We really wanted it to feel like you're walking into a different world,” Pete Keopaseut said. “Like when you go on vacation and stay in a nice hotel—you walk in and it feels relaxing, it feels different. That’s what we tried to create here.”
