According to owner ZJ, interest spiked during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when toilet paper shortages pushed many to look for alternatives.
The technology focuses on comfort and cleanliness. Heated seats, warm water washes, hot air drying and built-in deodorizing create what ZJ described as extreme comfort.
The toilets are especially helpful for those with mobility problems.
“Those smart toilets also help people who have difficulties to turn around and reach the toilet paper,” Chen said.
Features customers love
While comfort is expected, automation is what surprises most first-time users. Lids open automatically as someone approaches, and for men, a simple foot kick raises the seat. The toilet automatically flushes, and a remote control adds even more functionality, including adjustable water temperature, drying options and spa settings.
“It’s like a robot, so when people leave, it will take care of everything automatically,” ZJ said.
Customer response and service
The Plano location has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Customers often return to outfit additional bathrooms.
“Customers love it. They come back [and say], ‘I have four more restrooms, and I want to use your toilets,’” ZJ said. “They refer us to their families and friends. Anyone looking for a quality smart toilet will stop by my place.”
The company sets itself apart with service and warranty support. Each smart toilet comes with a five-year local warranty and lifetime assistance.
Modern showers and hardware
Seewin USA also offers bathtubs, LED mirrors and glass shower doors designed with both style and safety in mind. Its shower doors feature hydraulic soft-close systems, which are not typically available locally.
For families who prioritize safety, the company uses shatterproof tempered glass to prevent injury in the rare event of a break.
“[Our shatterproof glass] is designed for [the safety of] families who have kids at home,” ZJ said.
Built with safety in mind
Seewin USA emphasizes quality components, sourcing Japanese motors, Samsung control boards and the same flush valve used by the well-known Toto brand.
“The flush valve ... is the key to avoid the flooding of ceilings or flooring,” ZJ said.
The company also prioritizes electrical safety.
“Our smart toilets are UL certified. People can only find one other [toilet like this], which is from a very large brand,” ZJ said.
Looking ahead
Seewin USA plans to introduce new smart toilet designs later this year, all created by its German design team.
“[The new designs] look very different from all of the others,” ZJ said.
The company’s focus on design and quality has made it stand out in a market that is only beginning to embrace smart bathroom technology.
