After a decade in the field, she wanted to bring that same level of life-changing care closer to home.
“I live here with my husband and two kids, and I really wanted to come serve the Georgetown community,” Dr. Willingham said.
In mid-November, she opened Family ENT of Georgetown, creating a space where patients aren’t just treated; they’re cared for like family.
"As the owner of my private practice, I have the privilege of providing personalized care all under one roof, ensuring my patients receive the quality attention they deserve," Dr. Willingham said.
That family-first approach is more than a motto; it’s how she runs every appointment.
“Everybody, no matter how young or old, deserves respect,” Dr. Willingham said. “I talk the way I would like to be spoken to, and I treat patients as though they are my family members.”

“I listen to make sure that I fully understand what’s going on and how I can help my patients,” Dr. Willingham said. “We talk through the treatment options to make sure that everybody is on the same page. That way, nobody is caught off guard, and they know what's going on. It's really a team effort.”
That extra effort is especially important for people who are nervous about seeing a specialist.
“It can be scary when patients have a medical concern. Taking time to discuss the symptoms and treatment options can be reassuring,” Dr. Willingham said.
What conditions does Family ENT treat?
Family ENT provides care for patients of all ages, from young children to adults.
“For children, we mainly see tonsil issues and problems with recurring ear infections,” Dr. Willingham said.
Adults often come in for the following:
- Chronic sinus disease
- Ear cleanings
- Runny nose
- Voice box evaluations

What new procedures are available?
This practice offers several advanced treatments, including minimally invasive procedures designed to improve recovery times and overall comfort.
Dr. Willingham is particularly passionate about her newest service for children: in-office ear tube placement. Traditionally done under general anesthesia, the updated approach uses numbing and specialized tools to speed up the process.
“In the office, the placement of ear tubes is faster, so we can avoid general anesthesia,” Dr. Willingham said.
These procedures often have an immediate, life-changing impact.
“After we place the ear tubes in the office, the children can hear better. They often say—‘Whoa, what was that noise?’— I love seeing that,” Dr. Willingham said.
She’s also witnessed remarkable changes in kids after tonsillectomies.
“One indication for needing a tonsillectomy are children who don’t sleep well,” Dr. Willingham said. “After the procedure, the parents say their child is sleeping better and even acting better during the day.”

One of the most exciting new devices for adults is Inspire, an innovative treatment for sleep apnea.
“Inspire is for adults who have failed CPAP machines, and can’t tolerate them,” Dr. Willingham said. “It's a new device that gives them the ability to have their airway opened up without an external device, ... so it’s very exciting.”
For patients with chronic sinusitis, Dr. Willingham also offers in-office balloon sinuplasty, which opens up the sinuses in a noninvasive way.
What’s next for Family ENT?
Dr. Willingham hopes to continue expanding care to meet the needs of Georgetown families.
“I would love to keep growing and taking care of the whole community,” she said.
