“What we’re seeing is small-business owners or corporate team members who are working remotely but desire to get out of that home office environment,” co-founder and CEO Tim Slaughter said.
From boosting productivity to offering a more professional, client-facing space, the concept is catching on fast. Now, Caddo is bringing it to a new neighborhood in Frisco.
Why Frisco, and why now?
Frisco’s growth and stream of corporate relocations made it an obvious choice for Caddo’s tenth location, but the decision went deeper than that.
With four successful North Texas sites already thriving in the immediate vicinity, the team has a clear read on where demand is highest. Additionally, because they build their own properties, they can strategically place each one where it matters most, right in the heart of the neighborhoods they’re designed to serve.

Shaped by experience and customer feedback
Caddo has been refining coworking spaces for years. After buying an established set of office suites six years ago, the team has been tweaking and improving their offerings based on direct customer feedback.
“Every time we build a new location, we're improving upon our previous locations. That's the cool thing about both building them and operating them,” Slaughter said.
This approach has led to constant upgrades, such as stronger Wi-Fi, more efficient HVAC systems and even whimsical interior touches by designer Kim Gill, including a vintage golf cart in the lobby of their upcoming Frisco space.
“We try to have fun with it, so that when people come in, they feel inspired, and they feel proud that they're working in this environment,” Slaughter said. “When people bring their customers in, they’ll say, ‘Wow, I'm impressed.’”

A deeper mission: helping small businesses thrive
Beyond the space itself, Caddo’s deeper mission is rooted in supporting entrepreneurs.
“Our mission is to help small businesses thrive. There’s a lot of passion that we have around that,” Slaughter said.
That mission becomes real when businesses grow within their walls. Some, such as marketing firm Mallard Agency, started in Caddo with only a few people and went on to scale dramatically.
“Mallard Agency has been so successful,” Slaughter said. “One of my friends worked with them. They scaled my friend’s business from $10 million in sales per year to $50 million in sales. This whole thread of success, growth, achievement and entrepreneurial energy is so exciting.”
Frisco’s new space opens this fall
With flexible leases, thoughtful design and a focus on community, it’s built for connection, and it’s built to last.
