The first thing that drew homeowner and realtor Rachel Bennett to the community was the sprawling oak trees.
“Most new construction neighborhoods level everything out [before they] start building houses,” Bennett said. “When we found this neighborhood, and saw that they saved all of these huge, 100-year-old trees, we said, ‘This is it. This is the place we've been looking for.’”

“I remember looking at the trees with my coffee in the morning. It just felt very idyllic. I'm living my dream life right now,” Bennett said.

Bennett describes weekends and holidays spent playing with family or meeting other residents at the pool. Events such as concerts in the park and monthly Bunko nights add to the sense of camaraderie.
“There are a lot of opportunities for connection, and all of the people who live here seem to want to get connected,” Bennett said.

“Last year, taking [my kids] to school only took three minutes,” Bennett said.
