From sharing moments with loved ones to enjoying the richness of music, the ability to hear well profoundly shapes how we experience life every day. At Hear in Texas, the commitment to helping patients reconnect with those meaningful sounds is stronger than ever.

By expanding their reach with new staff and an additional location while introducing innovative programs, the clinic is broadening access to personalized hearing care, making tailored solutions more available and affordable for everyone who needs them.

Opening a new location

As part of its mission to make hearing care more accessible across Central Texas, Hear in Texas is preparing to open a new location in Dripping Springs this fall. This expansion reflects the clinic’s ongoing commitment to meeting patients where they are, both geographically and in their hearing journey.

The new location will provide the same trusted services offered at the New Braunfels clinic, including comprehensive evaluations, hearing aid fittings, follow-up care, and personalized treatment plans. Audiologist Dr. Anna McCraney, who joined the Hear in Texas team last November, will lead patient care at the Dripping Springs location.

“Access is a huge part of hearing care,” Dr. Miranda said. “We’re excited to bring our model of compassionate, individualized support to Dripping Springs and continue building relationships with patients who deserve to feel heard.”

Expanding staff

At the heart of this effort is a growing team of experienced providers, all dedicated to helping patients hear and live better. Hear in Texas has recently welcomed audiologist Dr. Margaret Neyman who spends most of her time caring for veterans and active military, hearing instrument specialist Brian Martin and audiology extern Kathryn Johnson to its team, along with two additional screeners who are helping expand outreach and early detection efforts.

“Generally, when people decide to get their hearing checked, it’s because they’ve reached a point where they can’t, or don’t want to, wait any longer,” owner and audiologist Dr. Sally Miranda said. “By adding more staff, we’re able to see more patients and create more opportunities for timely follow-up care.”

Hearing aid subscription

Recognizing that cost can be a significant barrier to hearing care, Hear in Texas has a flexible subscription program designed to make high-quality hearing aids more accessible and manageable for patients. Rather than requiring a large upfront payment, this subscription model offers monthly payments that cover the cost of new hearing aids every three years.

One of the standout features of the program is the opportunity to upgrade to new technology every three years, ensuring patients benefit from the latest advancements in hearing aid performance, comfort and connectivity. Whether it’s improved clarity in noisy environments or better integration with smartphones and other devices, patients can stay current without the stress of starting over financially.

Supporting long-term success with LACE

To help patients thrive beyond the exam room, Hear in Texas offers the LACE, Listening and Communication Enhancement, mobile app. This powerful auditory training tool helps retrain the brain to better understand speech, especially in noisy environments, which is one of the most common challenges for those with hearing loss.

Through interactive exercises, LACE strengthens listening and communication skills over time, complementing the use of hearing aids and boosting confidence in everyday conversations.

“One exciting feature is that the app can use a familiar voice, like a spouse or child, so patients can train to hear the people who matter most,” Dr. Miranda said. “It’s also personalized and fun, with content options like jokes, fun facts or history to keep it engaging.”

Hear in Texas is currently offering 50% off the LACE app. To learn more about this deal, call the office at 830-360-2000.
