“We are a full bar and restaurant, so instead of just selling beer, we offer cocktails, mocktails and wine, along with our full craft food menu,” sales representative Zachary Delmonico said.
A local hangout for everyone
Located at 610 US-79, Hutto, Cottonwood Creek balances its adult-friendly atmosphere with thoughtful, family-friendly touches. A dedicated outdoor play area gives children space to run and play while parents relax, connect over a meal and watch their favorite sport on one of the brewery’s 14 TVs.
“All the kiddos are loving the playscape,” Delmonico said. “There seems to be a family-friendly vibe that offers everything someone could want.”

Drinks and dishes to try
True to its name, Cottonwood Creek brews its beer in-house, crafting small batches that reflect creativity and attention to detail.
Currently, the tap lineup features six original beers:
- Cornfields Blonde Ale
- Butchers Bock Amber
- Hazy Hazy Hippo
- Palm Valley Pale Ale
- Hippo on the Run Porter
- Circus Train IPA
For those who want to sample the whole range, a beer flight is available that showcases all six of the current house brews.
Even for non-beer drinkers, the experience doesn’t fall short. Cottonwood Creek’s craft cocktail menu is designed with the same attention to flavor and detail. One standout is the Texas Blueberry Old Fashioned, a creative twist on the classic drink that has quickly developed a following.
“The Blueberry Old Fashioned has been a huge hit because it has that smokey feel, but instead of being straight up, it has some blueberry to it,” Delmonico said.

Of course, no drink menu is complete without food to match, and the kitchen at Cottonwood Creek delivers on all fronts.
The menu leans into elevated comfort food, such as:
- Enchilada Smoked Meatloaf
- Chicken Fried Chicken and Steak
- Miso Caesar Salad
“People tend to love how much meat we can pack into [the Cubano sandwich], and they can pair it with one of our lovely sides,” Delmonico said.

To meet growing interest, the team is already preparing to offer gift cards and looking ahead to distributing their house-brewed beer—first to local pubs and restaurants, and eventually at H-E-B.
“We want to have some kind of validity and know what people like,” Delmonico said.
Cottonwood Creek Brewery & Smokehouse is a place where people of all ages can come together. Whether for a casual weeknight dinner, a Saturday football game or a family outing, the experience will surely be memorable.
