Lucky Goat Coffee opens 1st Texas cafe in Frisco, serving specialty coffee

Sponsored by: Lucky Goat

Lucky Goat Coffee Co. opens first Texas location in Frisco, serving specialty coffee.

The aroma of specialty coffee is now wafting through Frisco as Lucky Goat Coffee Co. proudly opens its first Texas cafe at 2440 Eldorado Parkway, Ste. 210.

This eagerly anticipated arrival marks a significant milestone for the rapidly expanding brand and offers Frisco residents a new, inviting hub to connect, relax and savor crafted beverages and pastries.

Lucky Goat Coffee Co. opens new location in Frisco with good vibes.

The backstory

What began as a wholesale specialty coffee roaster, providing premium beans to kiosks, carts and independent shops, has quickly evolved into a dynamic and expanding brand. In November 2023, Lucky Goat took a bold step forward by launching franchising opportunities.

The driving force behind the Frisco cafe is franchise owner Sabrina Watkins.

“Sabrina attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee and first walked into one of our locations, where she immediately fell in love with the coffee,” Marketing Director Kelly Hebert said. “She moved back to Texas to work for American Airlines, but always knew she wanted to own a franchise. When we announced our franchising opportunities, she was thrilled. Now living in Frisco with her family, including her son and daughter, she chose the city because she loves the community and felt Lucky Goat truly reflected that community feeling.”

A traditional approach to coffee

One thing that makes Lucky Goat Coffee unique to the Frisco area is that they offer specialty coffee and espresso-based drinks. Additionally, unlike other coffee chains, Lucky Goat does not offer blended drinks, ensuring that every order is a classic, traditional coffee experience.

“We only buy coffee beans that score 80 points or above on the Specialty Coffee Association’s 100-point scale,” Vice President of Branding Lindsey Sheets said.

Their most popular drinks include the Luckyccino, a signature creation that features cold brew, vanilla and cream, and Snowflake Crunch, a seasonal favorite returning this July, offering a delightful combination of vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon.

In-store selection includes:

  • Cold Gold

  • Luckyccino

  • Goat Bomb

  • Lucky Bomb

  • Chai latte

  • Cappuccino

  • Brewed coffee

  • Cortado

  • Matcha latte

To complement their drinks, Lucky Goat also offers a rotating selection of fresh pastries sourced from a bakery in Irving, including kolaches, muffins, danishes and scones.

A community gathering place

Each Lucky Goat location has its own personality and vibe, and the Frisco location is no different. The Frisco location is more than just a place to grab a drink; it’s a community hub where conversations flow as freely as the coffee.

“Whether it’s moms enjoying a morning out, business professionals meeting or a college student studying, we’re a one-stop shop for everyone,” Sheets said. “No matter your lifestyle, age or stage, there’s a place for you at our tables, bar and on our menu.”

The overall vibe is one of community and curiosity, where high-quality coffee meets a relaxed, engaging environment, making every visit as enriching as it is enjoyable.
